Natural Elegance
Vermont may at first appear to be an unlikely place for a business such as ours but it is the nature around us and the nature of our New England lifestyle which continually inspire our products. Our goal is to create natural, simple, and elegant designs in which women feel comfortable no matter the occasion. We hope our pieces will become wardrobe staples to return to again and again, season after season, and year after year.
We begin with high quality fabrics made of natural fibers, including silks, linens, cottons, and wools. These ancient fabrics have endured the test of time and remain favorites even in our high-tech age. Choosing soft natural colors reflects the beauty of nature, especially when layering texture and transparency.
Much of the beauty of New England lies in its simplicity. We believe that true elegance is always simple and that clothing does not have to be fussy to be beautiful. Most of our garments are washable and easy to care for.
We place a high value on our customers, our role in the community, and our responsibility to the environment that inspires us. Our products are sewn on site by highly skilled and experienced seamstresses. We limit and save our scraps for use in “upcycled” products. We participate in many local charitable events and, in the future, will seek ways to connect people to and through the textile traditions of New England and the world.

Our store is located in the historic Depot Street district in Manchester Center. Almost every piece in our inventory is a one-of-a-kind original.
In addition to our own designs, we carry clothing and accessories from Homagerie and handcrafted jewelry made by local artisans.
We also have a clearance room with items available at 50% off our regular retail price.
